I believe that that the fireworks should not be displayed because the £2,000,000 that are the money that we use for the fireworks are being wasted.Plus the money could be used for other important things!For example other environmental things.
I have several reasons for this, my first being that there are people who don't even get their benefits or there are other people who are unemployed; and we are using the £2,000,000
for the silly fireworks that don't even last for 10 minutes!!!
In addition there are poor people who DO NOT get their benefits, are starving to death and are getting their food from food banks.Furthermore
people are paying all their taxes to
make their community better not to watch some absurd fireworks !!!
If they want, they could do a celebration for the New years Eve at home and celebrate it gracefully at their home.
The government could use the money for other important things like hospitals ETC.
