Facts about Caracals

1) Caracal is a species of medium sized wild cat. It looks like a close relative to a lynx.

2) Caracals can be found

in Africa, south west parts

of Asia and the

Middle East.

3) It inhabits dry and arid

regions, woodlands,

scrublands, savannahs and mountain forests.

4) Diet: Caracals eat birds and they catch them by jumping up in the air. They pounce and use their front paws to grab the bird and when they catch it they land with their front paws to the ground and have a delicious meal.
