Wesak

Wesak is a Buddha festival that is celebrated on May when there is a full moon.It celebrates the Buddhas birthday also it marks his enlightenment and death.Wesak is celebrated with much color ad gaiety.Homes may be cleaned and decorated in many during the festival. In many countries Buddhists will visit their local Temple for services and teaching and will give offerings to the Monks of food,candles and flowers.Chanting and praying are an important week of Wesak.
