A Strange night

It was a stormy night. I begged my mum to sleep next to her because I was terrified because of the flashes of lightning and the howling wind.

Once I was going to close myeyes, I heard a creepy noise coming from downstairs. It was like a little girl singing. I thought to go downstairs but at the same time I was notsure. I went downstairs shivering with fear. The stairs were making a weird noise and they seemed to be moving. The floor was looking creepy and it was pitch dark.

I realised that the noise was coming from the basement. I was frightened to death. I brought my baseball bat for protection. While I reached to open the basement’s door shivers went down my spine and I had goose bumps all over my body. To my surprise the door opened by itself. I saw to creatures and I couldn’t believe my eyes. They were a zombie and a vampire.

They were staring at me for quite a long time. All of a sudden they started walking towards me. I dropped my bat and started running as fast as my legs could carry me. I didn’t know if they were chasing me or not. I was knocking badly on parents’ bedroom. My parents opened the door half asleep and asked me what I was doing there awake.

I told them all that happened. They went with me downstairs to the basement and when we opened the door there was nobody. My parents gave me a punishment for a week as I woke the up in the middle of the night in vain. I didn’t care but from that day onwards I slept with my night light on.
