Day one week two:I can reflect on my own learning


Q1-The term persuasive means providing evidence or reasoning that makes you believe something.

Q2-. Three features in a piece of persuasive writing could be;

-Colourful and eye-catching founts

-strong argument


Q3-The term 'for' in persuasive writing means when you agree with a statement. The term 'against' in persuasive writing is when you disagree with the statement.


Q4-Three words/phrases that could be written in a balanced argument are;

-Besides

-As you can see

Q5-Three questions that can be used in a debate are...

do we need to wear uniform at school?

Should we bring pencils cases?

Should there longer holidays?

Q6- You would find persuasive language in a debate on the news about the coronavirus killing people. In a school when it's time to vote for the school councilers.
