Barefoot Skiing

Barefoot Skiing is water Skiing behind a motor boat without the use of water skis.


Equipment


Barefooting requires a boat or something else that can go up to the speed of of 30-45 mph.

You also need a very strong rope to be able to hold you. If you want to jump while you are skiing, you will need a helmet to wear.



History of Barefooting


Barefooting was invented in Florida and in 1947, for the first time, 17-year-old "Hancock"

became the first person to try Barefooting.


World Record


A Mexican man set a new world record for Barefooting at the speed of 153 mph while being towed by a helicopter.


Is it dangerous?


Usually Barefooting is not dangerous. But in different occasions, it is possible to get hurt in the feet and ankles. Also there's a small chance of drowning.........


Conclusion


This extreme sport looks quite good in reviews. It looks pretty fun to fell like you're walking on water, and jumping on it! This sport seems fun, but a bit dangerous, and I say, "Safety first!"
