Louie saved loads of people from dying by discovering ways of vaccinating people from diseases.

Louie Pasteur lived from 27th December 1822 till 28th September 1895. He invented a process called Pasteurisation which stopped food and liquid such as milk making people sick.

Louis Pasteur was quoted as saying that "I am utterly convinced

that Science and Peace will triumph over Ignorance and War,

that nations will eventually unite not to destroy but to edify,

and that the future will not belong to those who have done

the most for the sake of suffering humanity."
