Buddhist centre

Today we went to the Buddhist centre. We listened to some chants (Chinese, Indian, Japanese, she told us about one for help) and we closed our eyes. After we drew a statue of a Buddha. We also learnt and practiced meditation. We rang some bells and a great gong. We had to take off our shoes for respect to the centre. We saw some offering water and essence. They use rice to stand the essence sticks. We had a very enjoyable time.
