The canal ride

Rivers are natural and canals are built by people because rivers and canals are completely different things!

A canal boat has everything you need like your house for it to be nice.

Locks: Locks purpose is to make us pass. The water goes up there to lower the boat so it can open the bridge. They need to rise the water from there and take the water down again so it can move. And bridges protect us from the wild and water because the bridges get us over the water.

They saw ducks because nature is in the middle. They saw houses on the other side of the bridges. A bridge gets us to another man made land from another man made land. People use the canal for visiting and touring round.
