The Very Hungry Caterpillar
Welcome back after the Half Term break! We have started our new topic on minibeasts with the story "The Very Hungry Caterpillar". The children have enjoyed re-enacting the story, and playing with the knitted toys, as well as learning about the life cycle of a butterfly. In maths, we have looked at symmetry: the children have made a folded paint symmetrical butterfly, and used mirrors to colour in symmetrical butterfly pictures.
