THE TRIP TO THE THAMES

Last week we went to Chiswick Bridge.Gosh was it a long and tiring journey and a walk MR Shuttleworth said was only 10 minutes but it was about 3o minutes!Yet it was very beautiful ,like being in the countryside but staying in London. When we got there we went into the lifeguard centre and we all went to the toilet. After that ,half of us went outside in our wellies down onto the pier and half of us stayed in I was in the outside group first. On the pier we answered a question sheet about the River Thames. Then we also measured how deep the Thames was and we also learnt how deep the Thames can get it got 9.93m high. After being on the pier for 1 hour we came back up to th lifeguard centre we got our pack lunches and had lunch,I had a humus and ham sandwich, a packet of doritos ,some mini cookies,a banana and kit kat. After we had finished our lunch this time I was in the inside group. There was a big play mat which had River Thames down the middle and the mud and then grass and we each got a fish, bird ,tree, building (plastic not real)
