The Hobbit

Scene 4: The Dark Forest

They just reach the edge of the dark forest. The two dwarves (and Bilbo) are glad to be back on track; on their way to reclaim Thorin Oakenshield's ancestors' golden treeasure. While walking, Balinwonders where Bombur is. He feels a gentle tap on his right shoulder. Just as he turned, (filled with caution), there Bombur stands in a grizzly bear position, on his two 'hind' legs, with a bid grin stetching from ear to ear. Balin shrieks, with a huge amount of a girly sceam. Once he slowly starts to recover, Bilbo squeaks as he swipes his eyes from dwarf to dwarf - twice - then abruptly leaps into Bombur's arms. What Balin can see, Bilbo has tears of joy dripping from his rosy cheeks. 'Oh I'm so amazed to see you're okay!'

As the sun begins to rise, Balin and Torin admire the sweet-smelling roses, that glimmered in the soft light. Enen Balin can easily see that Thorin is kind-hearted. Little by little, their journey is chipped up and shortened. By the minute, the day becomes more brighter and Bilbo skips along the yellow brick road, as Balin trugdes behind leisurely on their way to Smaugs lair in the Misty Mountains. So Oakenshield spots that Balin is sweating like crazy, therefore he suggests that that they have a little break in the shade on the green grass, but not for long though. Balin starts to build up his heart-felt speech about Thorin. "Scruffy, But mighty, he is our leader, to Thorin!" Balin loked up to him, one because he is their 'captain' and two he is a bit smaller than him (he's small). Balin and Bilbo thought he is so tough but gentle, he is stron but also soft and sweet like a little marhmallow.
