What is a cruise ship

A cruise ship is a passenger boat normally carrying at least 500 people to a couple of thousand. Nearly half the boat is underwater. That’s how it floats. It has a big engine at the bottom, inside the hull. The engine makes the propeller move and the rudder steers it. The potholes are windows to the cabins (where your rooms are). The deck is where you walk above the cabins. The bridge is where the captain of the ship (the driver some people call it) steers it.
History
There was a very famous ship called Titanic. It was built between 1909 and finished in 1911. Unfortunately, it sunk! It was such a famous there was a film and book made about it. The ship was a whopping 882 feet (269 metres) long and 175 feet (53 metres) high. 900 people worked on there and it carried 3547 people. Over 1500 people died in when it sunk. The remains of the ship sits on the sea 12400 feet beneath surface.
Types or uses
There are over three types of cruise ships and they are: 1) Classic cruise, a very romantic, shet at dinner time type of cruise. 2) premium cruise, big new modern cruise carrying over 2,500 people and loads of food. 3) family cruise, all fun for the family, kids club and loads more! There are loads, loads more types that if I do all of them you’ll be here forever! I hope you liked my blog about
