WEEK 1 - SCARCITY

Andromeda class had their first micrososiety lesson all about SCARCITY. This means but loads of people want a certain thing but there is not enough for everybody. In order to settle this, there are prices on the things-so the more money you have, the more you can get.

Our teacher (miss bond) read a story about a planet called enough that was not getting enough food. We had to see what we would do.

Our second lesson that week, was still about scarcity , but also recorses. we were set up into five teams (A,B,C,D,E,F) OR more like six. Each team had

diffrent materials,my team,D, had some paper, scissors,pencil, and a ruler.We

had to make a 40cm perimeter sqaure for 5 points OR a 10cm diameter circle for ten points. Miss bond was banker and IF we had counters we could gain five points.

Through the first few minutes, team C was in the lead with around 20 points and D ,had absoloutley none. Ten minutes later people were bustling about, trying to trade, team D had still no points.

When it was over, team D had only 5 points, and C 50. Miss bond showed us a map of the world only it howed how many rescorses each country had. Team d shouldve traded there 2 counters and the wouldve had 15 points. it had been a could lesson and im getting exieted to begin.
