The Hidden Temple

The humidity was unbearable. Perhaps when the entered the temple it would be cooler?

The group had been travelling together for days, fighting their way through the jungle. They had exhausted themselves wrestling with vines and branches, drenched in sweat as the heat attacked them.

All around them the air was heavy; each breath was a gasp. The jungle climate was oppressive, and they were in need of rest.

As the group hacked their way through the dense foliage with their machetes, they had glimpsed the hidden temple. Approaching the door with a sense of growing trepidation, they knew they had to go inside; curiosity and desperation had got the better of them...

The group were not nervous at all, they were used to this adventures the group tried to open the door but the door opened by itself the screeching of the door was really loud inside it was dark but they were not scared at all they kept on going and one of the guys in the group stepped on a booby trap and the step where the guy stepped on the booby trap exploded so he decided to take his torch out and suddenly they could see everything and there was a diamond in the middle, on the wall "You will have to get past the booby trap!"

Now that made them nervous but they were not going to give up that easily they went skipped the booby traps the leader of the group tried to grab the diamond but it was a diagram it was all fake and all the steps that they did were exploded so they were stuck there for their entire life.

Trepidation means scared they might feeling it, because they are going to a dark temple with booby traps.

The group are people that group up to the mystery they are in the jungle, because they want the diamond.

They got carried away from the beauty of the temple.
