Swimming with the Predators

She knew that it hadn't been a good idea to leave the tap running, but now she was starting to enjoy herself. The shimmering sapphire sea sparkled in the scorching sun's blazing hot rays, gleaming at the waters, illuminating the dark depths of the vast ocean. Alex was petrified at first, but now she was sailing her bathtub as happy as a lark, smelling the cool breeze of the Atlantic ocean, tasting the salty sea as it splashed around her comfortable bathtub. Soon Alex was getting hungry, since it was early afternoon and all she had ate was a sandwich, so she dived in.

Alex knew she could breathe underwater and see clearly there, but she didn't know why, as all her father had told her was her mother disappeared. Under the ocean, Alex could sight magnificent creatures swimming peacefully and majestic birds gliding across the aquamarine sky. CRUNCH! "What was that ?" wondered Alex. Then she sighted it, large colossal jaws and razor sharp knives poking out the glass waters. Alex swam up to the tub to find a large chunk of the tub was bitten of. It was a Megalodon! Alex leapt out, the ginormous shark swimming after her.

Then, out of nowhere, a Archelon went into it's shell and charged at the Megalodon spinning faster than light and shot at the shark. The shark sunk to the bottom, but then an Ammonite with steel skin swam at Alex and shot out one of his deadly tentacles at her.

The huge turtle carried the unconscious girl to his city (Turtondile). The emperor of Turtondile, Archy was shocked and delighted to see Alex." Who are you and where are you from?" asked Archy.

Alex was struck as she did not know she could communicate with creatures and soon answered "My name is Alex and I'm from Seattle."

"Alex you say, I met a mermaid who had a daughter called Alex and she was a good friend of mine."

"You knew my mother, where is she?"

"She was swimming, when she swam into a swirling portal whirlpool," answered Archy " Their it is there."

Alex swam to the whirlpool Spin (the archelon who saved her) swimming behind. They swam in, but did not know the journey ahead.
