It was a dark rainy damp day, all I could see were glum faces. Children aged 0-9 were sobbing for their parents. The train arrived at the platform filling the station with gushing grey smoke. I stepped into the crowded carriage and looked back at my mum, she was crying. I gave her a soul full wave goodbye, and turned away . I grabbed my 4 year old brother's hand he started crying, I wanted to cry too but I knew I couldn't ,that would just make him more upset. After an hour on the train everything began to settle down me and my brother held hands tightly.
