A Surprise for Katie

A week ago Katie was playing in the

garden. While she was playing, she saw

a big box. Katie went to open it, but

she could not see anything in the box.

Katie was sad because it was a surprise

that her mum and dad got her.

She went to tell her mum. Her mum said,

"Oh no! Let's try and find it!" Her mum

looked under the table, in the kitchen, in

all of the rooms and behind everything.

While they were looking, her dad came.

He also looked for the present but,

when he was outside in the tree, he saw

the cat. They called Katie. Katie was so

happy about the cat her parents got her.

At the end of day, Katie said, "It was

worth how much I looked for you!" She

was so happy that she had a cat. Katie

and her family all lived happily forever.
