RUMPELSTILTSKIN

The people in the photo are Rumpelstiltskin and the miller's daughter.

An "unthinkable, gruesome fate" is just another way of saying she will be killed.

I think the King is greedy, as he has told her that is she doesn't produce any gold, he will kill her. This shows that he will happily take lives if it mean he doesn't get what he wants, and as he is the king, I can assume that he has more gold than others, so he doesn't need more.

I think the miller is worried about his daughter, as he knows she can't spin straw into gold so she will of course be killed.I also think he is guilty as in the book "Rumpelstiltskin", the reason the king finds out is because the miller boasts to everyone his daughter can spin straw to gold.

A miller is a person who works in a corn mill.

Although many people think he is bad, as he takes the daughter's child, but I think he is good because he could of just not helped her and spin straw to gold , but he does, and obviously he wants something in return for saving her life, and the daughter does accept, so I don't understand why everyone thinks that is bad. Also, maybe he wants the child so he can have some company in his home, as he may be very lonely, and seeing as babies are small, and he is small too, he will be able to fit it in his house, instead of taking her.

I have a really old book at my house which has the real Grimm fairy tales, before people decided they were to 'grim' so they changed it to more innocent stories. I personally think the original stories are better, so I cant really choose my favorite story.
