The emperor and his new clothes

There was once an emperor, who loved his clothes. There were lots of rooms in his castle. The biggest room was his closet with heaps of clothes but no mirrors.

Then he went to the famous coffee shop and hung up a sign saying, '' I need a mirror. ''

Two people had a magical mirror, so they ran as fast as their legs could carry them to

the castle, and the emperor. The mirror was as heavy as a rock, so he got nine servants

to carry it to his closet and gave them nine thousand coins. When the emperor saw

himself in the mirror, he realized that all his clothes were old and got new ones. He looked at his mirror again and, to his surprise, all of his clothes turned into gold. He wanted to show them off so he went out in the street. However, as soon as he got out of the castle, his clothes changed back to their original state and were not golden anymore. He felt sad and utterly disappointed.

No one liked the emperor's clothes and unfortunately lots of people made fun of him. The emperor felt so embarrassed that he never went out again.
