What It was like in childhood for Frank.
Frank Cottrell Boyce was born on 23rd September 1959, in Rainhill, Lancashire, England, UK. He went to St Batholomew's Primary School and West Park Secondary. Years Later he studied English, Art and Drama at Oxford University.
Books
In 2008 he wrote his spectacular book which was called Cosmic. There were other books he wrote before Cosmic(his third book), such as Framed, Millions and much more! Also in 2009 he wrote the book 'when it change: Science into Fiction: Anthology, contributor, Comma Press. After 2 years 'Chitty Chitty Bang Bang Flies Again' came out. It was illustrated by Joe Berger, Macmillan Children's Books.
Awards
In 2008 he won the great and wonderful 'Guardian Children's Fiction Prize, Cosmic, short list, also he won the 'Roald Dahl Funny Prize, Cosmic, 7-14 years category-shortlist'. Later on a year, he won the 'Carnegie Medal, Cosmic, shortlist'. Then in 2010 he won another prize called 'Blue Peter Book Award: The Book I Could Put Down, Cosmic, shortlist.
