Katie's cat

One lovely day Katie was playing in the house. Her parents were in the garden. Suddenly her mum called, "Come here, Katie. We've got something for you!" Katie went in the garden.

She saw a box on the garden table. She went and looked inside the box but there was nothing. The box was empty! "There isn't anything in the box!" Katie exclaimed.

Mum looked under the garden table. Surprisingly there was nothing there! "I can't see anything under the table!" mum said.

Dad was looking too. Finally he cried "Look! There is something in the tree." He pointed at a

big apple tree. There was a cat in the tree. It meowed a tiny meow.
