Enterprise

This week in Microsociety we discussed what Enterprise was and how we could use it next week.The word ''Enterprise'' has two common meanings;firstly,an enterprise is simply another word for business e.g Mr Torres set up his next successful enterprise after leaving teaching.Secondly,and perhaps more importantly,the word enterprise describes the actions of someone who shows some initiative by taking risk by setting up,investing in and setting up.

After this we talked about the civil service jobs in the UK.Our first one that we came up with was a Banker to sort out the currency of our society.Next we decided to have a Police to sort out any crimes and connecting to that some of us wanted to have a Judge.Finally we also thought about having a Tax person who would sort out any Tax problems and make sure everyone payed there Taxes.

Next we read the next part of the 'NOTENUF' story.Families where now starting to trade things like seeds in return for Labour and food packs. The seeds were now used as currency to buy other foods like bread,food packs and vegetables.Families also traded objects such as jars and space suits.

We had also sorted out the societies name and currency.Our societies name was called Wakatania and our currency was called Wakoes.
