Third Year at Malory Towers

" I still can't believe that a Miss Peter's actually saved Thunder" said Bill/ Wilhelmina fo the hundredth time." She actually rode in the middle of the night to Raglett's farm which is five miles away in the middle of the night whilst it was poring with rain to get the vet. I mean just...wow! " I know" replied Darrel " It's just mind blowing. And on top of that she saved Mavis on the way back with the vet. So all in all she saved two people slash one person and one animal in one night. She deserves a prize. " I agree. " said Bill. " She even called me Bill insted of calling me Wilhelmina. I just hate that name but if everyone calls me Bill I can just forget I was christened Wilhelmina. " I want to write a letter to my mother and see what she thinks.

Dear Mum,

I just have to tell you what Miss Peter's the teacher I dislike most did for me. So one night Darrel ,my friend ,went down to the stables to check on Thunder because I had been banned from seeing him and came back up saying the stable boy said he probably had colic which as you know is extremely bad for horses Well after Darrel told me that she said we have to go to sleep so I tried and tried to get to sleep but I just couldn't so I decided to go to the window open it and see if I could hear any horse distress noises from Thunder. But then all of a sudden I felt someones hand on my shoulder so I turned around to see Darrel standing with a bewildered look on her face. Then when she had recovered she asked me what I was doing so I told her everything. Finally, she agreed to go out but she said only if I put on something warmer. When we got outside Thunder looked awful. Darrel offered to go get help. In less than a minute she was back with none other than... Miss Peter's! She looked extremely worried. After a bit of thought she decided to go and ride to Raglett's farm which is five miles away in the middle of the night whilst it wes poring with rain to get the vet.
