On Monday, I approached my school writhing with excitement. It was science week! In maths, we did a running experiment to find out ‘if the fastest child in 4Q was a girl’ and it was true. I found this so exciting that my face was as red as a shiny cherry!  After that, we proved that it was correct by figuring out the averages of everybody’s time of running using the method of mode, medium and mean. But we only used mean. And the answer was correct!

Despite it being a cold and blustery morning, an exciting day lay ahead of me. As I stepped into my fun, exciting, school, I didn’t know that today was roundabout day so I was a tiny bit confused. But this was nothing compared to my first roundabout day. I wasn’t too confused because I had some experience from last year. Anyway, I made a stupendous parachute that day by using two A-4 pieces of paper, four straws, a plastic Tesco bag and connected a circuit with a buzzer, light, motor propeller, some wires, some crocodile clips and two batteries. My partners were Reece and I can’t remember what my other partner was. Our third activity for the day was sorting animals using a venn diagram.

Thursday morning, what a day! Today we did an egg experiment by designing a box to protect an egg. My partners were sahmerdan and Daniel. Daniel drew on our box; I made the stuff inside that protects the egg and taped the box closed and Sahmerdan made some extras. Unfortunately, we didn’t win. I think we were the only one that didn’t win a prize. After that, MS.  Perez came and taught us some Spanish I couldn’t stay there for the whole time because I needed to go to Hub, music first.
