Samson and the Lion
Once there was a man called Samson he was big and strong, in his time he was known to be one of the strongest man in the world.
When Samson was a born his parents made a vow with God that they will never
cut off his hair. Now everyone was scared of Samson and people used to go to him when they were in trouble or when they could not fight there battle.


Now Samson had some people who did not like him like the phillistines.
The whole of the phillistines wanted to destroy him but they did not know how to get him, because they did not know where his power was coming from. They knew of stories about him on how he killed the Lion and also they knew how he defeated the phillistines so they wanted to get him back.
One day Samson met a Phillistines woman called Delilah and he was in love with her, but she did not have true love for him. So she betrayed him by going along with the plans of the phillistines to find out his strength and then defeat him.
Delilah made him drink loads of wine and sweet talked him into telling her his secret and he told her that it was his hair and when she knew that she told the phillistines.
Now Delilah cut off his hair and then the phillistines arrested him and made him blind. They made him work like one of there slaves and then one day they wanted to give him up like a sacrifice to their god but Samson did not want to so he prayed God to give him strength and the Lord did and Samson brought down the temple and killed all the Phillistines inside the temple and some out side.

This Story is in the bible and it could be found in the book of Judges from chapter 13 to chapter 16
