The Golden Pot
I was watching the news with my teacher, Miss Hawarth, when the news reader announced that someone had spotted a golden pot. The person who had seen it, said that they glimpsed the pot at the end of a rainbow, somewhere in England. It was, they claimed, filled with money!
So that evening, Miss Hawarth and myself decided to go on an adventure to find the golden pot. "It will be so hard to find", I said. Miss Haworth replied " That is because money and gold is precious."
Suddenly, we heard a noise. It was a gorgeous, brown coloured, puppy! We decided to name him 'bubbles'.
Bubbles, was in fact a magical puppy. When he whistled, a flying carpet would appear. "Bringing Bubbles with us, on our adventure to find the golden pot, will be very helpful I think!", said Millie. " I agree, said Miss Hawarth".
We asked Bubbles to make the flying carpet appear with his magic whistle and when it flew down and landed beside us, we all hopped on.
Just as we had taken off, we could see a storm starting in the distance. Big black clouds were forming. The rain drops were so big, they looked like eggs being smashed against the floor, when the landed. "It is so dangerous to be flying in this weather", said Millie.
Then Millie and Miss Hawarth heard a booming voice over the noise of the approaching storm. "Hold on tight to me", spoke the flying carpet."I am going to take you fast and high above the clouds, where you will all be safe".
We held on tightly, even Bubbles sunk his paws in and held on with his teeth.
The flying carpet took us higher and higher, until we were flying above the storm. Down below, we could see the rain falling. We were so glad that we were, higher, drier and safer.
"Look!" shouted Miss Hawarth. "The rain is stopping and I can see blue sky ahead and a rainbow!".
"Maybe the golden pot is at the end of it", said Millie. "Let's fly down to see". Bubbles started to bark, with excitement, as the carpet took us to the end of the rainbow.
"Hooray!" said Millie,"we have found the golden pot and all the money inside. I think we should spend it on another adventure, going to America".
"I agree, let's go to America for a holiday Millie and we will bring Bubbles the puppy too!.
