07.05.2020 Handwriting Blog
Hello Foundation 2! We hope you are having a lovely week! Were you able to have a go at writing the 'a' and 's' letters in
rainbow colours?
Fine Motor Skills: This week we'd like you to bring out the bubbles! Ask your mummy or daddy to blow the bubbles for
you. Now you get to pop the bubbles but only if you use the pointer finger of your writing hand. The other hand must firmly stay behind your back!
Handwriting: This week practice the letters
'c' and 'e'. They start as always with the 'sweep'. The 'c'
starts to curve like the 'a' so its very similar to write.
Mrs Norris likes to think of the 'e' like a race course as it has
a 'loop' in it. As you start to sweep up and across you make
a loop and then finish into the 'flick'.
Try practising the curves and the loops like you
see in the 'c' and 'e' on the 'train track pencil control sheet'.

Challenge (Optional): Can you write any words beginning with 'c' and 'e'? Maybe you have some chalk at home and can write using this? Or you could write it on a piece of paper and then use playdough to create the shape the letters?
We would love to see your work so please make sure you send it to Miss Norton and Mrs Norris, we can then show it on our blog.
