The magnificent Polka Theare
Yesterday, Y4 went to a trip to the polka theatre. We saw a play called the borrowers which is about a teeny tiny family which consists of a mother Homily, a daughter Arietty and a father Pod. Pod does borrowing but Arietty wants to go with Pod. However, Arietty gets lucky when Pod takes her with him. While Pod borrows, he leaves her by the clock. Soon, Arietty meets a boy but their friendship risks everything. Can they lead a safe life?
We went by train to the polka theatre. W hen we arrived, it was extremely loud but when the play started, everyone was silent. We watched the play and then, there was a short break when we ate our snacks. Annoyingly, they did the break at the most suspensful moment. They (quite litteraly) left us on our tiptoes. When it finished, we went back by train just in time for lunch.
I really enjoyed the play because of its exellent actors. If there was one thing that they could do better, it would be making the finger puppets more realistic.I would reccomend this to people who enjoy adventure because this play is quite adventureous.
