Magic
It was a warm and breezy summer night and stars were scattered high in the sky. The man had been waiting for this moment to come. He strode foreword, whispering to the moon as it lit his way. The man wore a long, black cloak that brushed against the grass when he walked, he had a long grey beard and a pointy hat that wore many dents and patches.
Just then a long, elegant star whizzed past, a shooting star!
"It's time," muttered the man, turning his head to stare into the night sky.
Just then a low rumble broke through the silent night. The trees swayed as wind picked up and birds screeched in their nests. Then man looked up and then spoke "Oops," he frowned.
Suddenly, from out of nowhere, came another rumble. This time it shook the whole town and everything rose from the ground, as if waiting for the man to speak. Then out of the rumbling sky something fell onto the swaying grass. It was a chair. Then another fell out of the sky, then another until it was raining chairs, all shapes and sizes and different bright colours. The man pulled out a slightly battered wand and waved it in the air.
"Lucio!" he boomed. The chairs all froze then slowly started to circle the man. He glanced at his watch then muttered something and...
"STOP!" he cried, raising his wand and circling it around his head. Everything went black as the moon was blocked out of sight. When the light came back it was morning and the man had disappeared, and so had the chairs, it was as if nothing ever happened.
