WALT to use the past tense in a recount.

Dear Diary,

Yesterday was a tough day has i had lots of work to do on

the farm.

First, i went to the well to get clean water. It was very

heavy and i had to carry Italy the way back to my farm.

Next i feed the animals in the field, and got to have my

yummy breakfast. I was very hungry.

Then i got on with my jobs. I had to take fresh hay to the

cows and sheep and sort the wheat and gain to make bread.

After that i helped mother churn the butter to make cheese.

My sister and i then stored lots of fruit for the winter.

Eventually i get to have my tea. I had pottage it was hot and

delicious. My bread was a bit hard so i dipped in the pottage

to make it soft.

Finally i went to bed because i was very tired after my busy

day and it was dark. I will need the rest because i will have

lots of jobs to do again tomorrow.
