Jane Goodall
Jane Goodall was born in Britain in 1934. Her dream
was to travel to Africa and to study the wildlife there.
After working hard she managed to go to Kenya.
There she met Louis Leakey, a scientist, and started
working with him. Louis Leakey sent Jane to Tanzania
to help him study chimpanzees. She lived with the
chimps and could study their behaviour. Through her
work we know that chimps are very similar to humans.
