This is about a girl called Rose Campion who lives in a music hall in the early 20th century and proves herself to be very clever when investigating a case that she was actually very clever to investigate in the first place because it wasn’t really known that it was a case at all.

This is the next book in the Rose Campion series this time she and her best friends Effie and Aurora (or Rory) are investigating the theft of a diamond necklace: The Star of the Sea also known as the Doomstone, as according to legend it is cursed.
