Hello,my name is Alvita Busari and for the past 3 an a half month I have been go in year 5,we have been learning about fractions. If you go onto our class page ( Degas class) you will see a fraction game called ' Fraction Beach' it teaches you alot about fractions even it gets really boring.
Ok, now I am going to teach you about equivalent fractions, for example if you had 2/3 the equivalent fraction to that is 4/6 because for me ,I times it by 2 or you can add it two times again which makes it much easier but if you times it by 2 that is the more clever way.
Finally, in Math Club Miss Johnson has taught us how to turn fractions into percentages. First get 2 numbers like 1/4 and this is how you do it:first, 4x20=100 and then 1x20=20 so the percentage of 1/4 is : 20%. Well if you do not understand go on a web site that will help you learn about all of the subjects that I have taught you so you can learn more!
