Our Trip To Trafalgar SquareOn Wednesday the 23d of September 2015 Trafalgar class went on a trip to Trafalgar square. Trafalgar square, designed by Sir Charles Barry, was constructed in the 1840s on the site that was originally the royal mews for hawks and then royal stables. There are 4 lions made out of metal and bronze around Nelsons Column.
When we got there Louise talked about Nelson’s Column. We went off into groups and sketched different areas on Trafalgar Square. I chose to sketch the two fountains because they looked interesting and they had 2 statues on top of it.After, we went to St James Park to eat our lunch. It was a fun day and we learnt lots!
