PANDAS

Pandas are one of the most amazing animals to ever walk the earth. My goal is to teach you all something new that you didn't know about Pandas. I think I can do that. Lets see!

HABITAT:

These black and white animals live in thick bamboo forests in the misty mountains of central China. They are very good climbers and will climb 4000 metres up the mountains for food!

DIET:

Pandas are very big eaters and every day they eat for around 12 hours and can consume up to a whopping 12kg of bamboo! They are omnivores and sometimes eat small animals and raw fish.

APPERANCE:

Pandas are black and white bears but they are born pale pink. They are also born blind. The young pandas open their eyes 6-8 weeks later. They grow to be between 1.2 and 1.5 metres and they weigh between 75 and 105kg. The bears have very large molar teeth helping them crush bamboo and have wide paws with fury undersides and sharp pointy claws.

ADAPTATION:

The pandas have to get used to their surroundings and food. They grasp their stalk of bamboo with 5 claws
