THE FESTEBLE OF LOVE

WHY DO WE SELEBRATE

In Gran Canaria there was a king called Gerald he had a

lovely daughter called Daisy. She was sweet like a daisy.

One day Daisy went to pic some flowers and she bumped in to someone called Jack. They stared to chat and Daisy said "maybe we could have a picnic tomorrow". So the next day they had a picnic and they loved it and then they kissed.

That night Daisy went home and told her dad the king

all about Jack the king said "you should bring this Jack

over". Daisy hesitated to bring Jack over because king Gerald would not approve of Jack but Daisy did anyway.

Daisy was right. After Jack had gone king Gerald told Daisy you can't marry him. But Daisy did anyway and the king was mad so mad that he sent his soldiers out to kill

Jack and they did. Daisy was mad at her dad and she never spoke to her dad ever again and never loved again.
