Frank Cottrell Boyce
Frank Cottrell Boyce was born on the 23rd of September 1959, Rainhill, Lancashire. He is now age 54 and lives in Liverpool.
Frank's childhood was an Irish Catholic religion. When he was in year 6, her realised he wanted to be a writer. From then on, he kept a diary to inspire himself. His teacher started this by reading his essay, which had jokes in it, to his class.
Mr. Boyce attended St Bartholomew's Primary and West Park secondary. He was in Keble college Oxford and then completed English, also at Oxford.
His career is an author. Frank's most famous books are Framed, Cosmic and Millions. They are aimed at 9+. His first ever book is called The Claim (2001.)
Frank's books have been shorttlisted for many awards, including The Blue Peter book award for Cosmic, The Carnegie Medal, also for Cosmic, The Roald Dahl Funny prize, this is for Cosmic too. And last, but by no means least, The Guardian Children's Fiction prize, Cosmic too!!!
