currency
According to Oxford dictionary currency means money from different countries such as pounds, dollars, euros and rubble. Society's use currency for paying for food, drinks, homes, furniture and many more.
At the start of the week we played Monopoly in our Micro society groups. After a quick 30 minutes game of Monopoly Farhan was victorious. The next day, the class brought in currency from around the world and talked about what was on each note or coin. I noticed the different colours on each note.
We also discussed how, in the olden days they used objects instead of money. Example animals, food, drinks and supplies to help them live. We also read more of the book notanuf this time the people started to trade food and seeds for food then seeds were there currency.
Finally, we designed our own money my partner and I made our U.S.S currency colourful and changed the background for the different amounts.
