Good morning Onyx!

After 30 hours of travelling, I finally arrived in Christchurch, New Zealand. Have a look on an NZ map to see if you can find out where Christchurch is. Is it in the North Island or South Island?

Even though I felt tired from the jetlag, it was great seeing my family. NZ is 13 hours ahead of the UK. It is 10pm Friday night here, and it is only 9am Friday morning in London. You must be just starting school... I hope you are all in today (and no one late... Akira?!).

How was the class party? Did you all have fun? I hope so!

Today I spent time with my sister and my nephew, Xavier. We went on a tram ride around the city followed by lunch. Then later on the day we went up the hill in a gondola and saw some beautiful views of the city. Have a look at the photos.

This is the tram we went on today. It took us around the city and had lots of information telling us about how the city is being rebuilt after the major earthquakes about 5 years ago.
