On Thursday 20th April 2017,our teacher, Mr Woods, introduced Scarcity, which really meant what you need and what you want. Additionally, he read a short story about Scarcity so we understand more. The wonderful story was about a silly planet and it had a very intelligant machine which gave what ever the citizens wanted, such as video games, comic and more. Unfortunately, one day the machine stopped because no one respected the friendly machine. Then everyone were unsure what to do so they thought carefully what to do.

During that lesson our class, were pondering about what our class should be called in Microsociety, and what our flag should be. So to make it fair, Mr Woods, put us into groups and then each group made a flag and name. My groups name was called, "Rigopolos" and our flag was basically planet Rigel with a mustache and a breifcase that looked ULTRA funny to me. After all entries were done, Mr Woods decided out of all the groups the flag and name. Luckily, our groups name had WON! But the flag lost unfortunatelly.

On Friday 21st April 2017, we did an activity about how we could make shapes out of scissors, a compass,2 pencils,3 counters and a ruler. We mostly needed paper so we could show our shapes but fortunately other groups had paper, so we traded our equipment for theirs. While the activity, I drawed a square then cut it out.My group got 5 points because of me. Also we tried more but it was tricky. At the end, our team drew last with another group, but at least we tried our absulut best! This whole activity was based on more scarcity about what we needed from other groups to produce shapes.

Hope you enjoyed my blog about microsociety scarcity!#
