This week's homework involves Year 5 seeing which times tables they are confident at remembering, and which need a bit more practice.
To be confident in a times table, you should know any multiplication (up to 12 times that number) out of order. A good way of testing this is by asking an adult to 'quick fire' any multiplication of that number in any order.
Here are some fun games to play to practise your times tables:
Maths Games (a variety of games)
Woodlands Resources (a variety of games)
BBC Times Tables Grid Game (put the numbers into the grid)
Mad 4 Maths Jigsaw (create the jigsaw, using your tables knowledge)
Tables Shooter (move the spitfire to complete the number sentence)
