This week in micro society we have been learning about currency. To learn more about money, we played monopoly. It was entertaining and tense as the game highly depended on luck. The luckier players got the most expensive landmarks straight away and the not so lucky had to pay several hundred monopoly money as they landed on other players landmarks. I got second place on my table as I got very fortunate and bought the most expensive landmark: Mayfair. The reason I believe I didn't win was because I used too much money at the beginning and ran out fairly quickly near the end of the game. Sam, who was victorious, won as he spent his money prudently and in stead of buying lots of cheap land marks, he bout fewer but more expensive ones and gained profit almost immediately. Overall it was fun, action packed and nervy. I found the shapes games more intriguing but they were both extremely fun and enjoyable.
