F1 Challenge
04.10.13
This week our theme will be ‘Little Miss Muffet’
Please sing the nursery rhyme with your child. Together look at how many legs a spider has, encouraging your child to count them carefully. Please help your child to be a number detective and together try and find the number 8 at home or when out and about. Please let us know where you and your child found the number 8, either by responding to the blog, sending in a photo or writing a list.
The children will begin by listening to and singing ‘Little Miss Muffet’, using props to re-enact the rhyme. Using a range of materials the children will have opportunities to explore and make spiders. In cookery the children will be make a Rice Krispie spider. They will watch the changes that take place to the ingredients and talk about what is happening.
Thank you for your continued support!
