He was born on 27th march1922.He went to Marlborough college. He married his sweetheart childhood girlfriend Myrle.next he was farmer for 20years then he was a soldier in 1943.He wrote over one-hundred books.HIs first books was the fox-busters and published in 1978 and his last book was the mouse family robinson and it was published in 2007 and his best book was the sheep pig now it turned into a movie called babe it made in 2008.And his favourite animal is pig.
