SCIENCE: How are Fossils Made and What Can we Learn from Fossils?
WHAT ARE FOSSILS?
Fossils are made from old bones from dinosaurs or old living things.
They are pressed together with soil and mud. Over thousands of years the mud
and soil get hardened with the bits of bones with it .
The soft part of the animal fades away while the bones stay. Then water comes into the bones And then the positive inside the bone moulds away . Then TADA!! Our fossil is made. Then over millions of years the rock rises to
the service . And is worn away by erosion . Man I dig fossils .
WHAT WE CAN LEARN FROM FOSSILS?
This may be disgusting but a person called Marry Anning discovered
Dinosaurs' poop she said “ I can learn about Dinosaurs now I can now about
what they ate. I can now if they ate meat ,leafs or veg .”
