koalas are epic!!!!

◾Did you know that a Koala Bear isn’t a bear at all but a marsupial. A marsupial is animal with a pouch.◾The scientific name for a Koala is Phascolarctos Cinereus- meaning ash grey pouched bear.◾There are three Koala subspecies: Northern, Intermediate and Southern.◾Koalas live in eucalyptus forest’s along the east coast states Queensland, New South Wales, South Australia and Victoria in Australia.◾Koalas are herbivores meaning they don’t eat meat.◾Koalas only eat the leaves of eucalyptus trees.
