Viking houses.

Vikings lived in rectangular

houses made with upright

timber.The walls were

made with wattle sticks,

covered in mud to keep

the wind and rain out.

Viking houses were

usually one bedroom

houses with cooking

fire in the middle.The

smoke escaped though a

hole in the top of the roof.

Viking food.

Vikings drank ale,Mead and buttermilk daily.feasts

would include the sane foods-Meat,fish,fowl,

vegetables,wild greens,bread and fruit ,

but in a greater variety than a usual meal or more

of it.Vikings enjoyed drinking ale or mead at feasts.Mead was a strong

fermented drink made from honey.

1. Frey was the god of fertility and birth.
2. Loki was part god and part devil.
3. Berserk Tyr was the Viking god of War.

Viking Gods

.Odln was the Viking god of wisdom and war.

Thor was very strong and Vikings would often wear Thor's symbol, a hammer, as a pendant around their neck.
