Day One

After a long journey, with lots of eager 'are we there yets?', we arrived at our destination. Upon arrival we were given a tour of the spectacular grounds, by Alex, our team leader. After the tricky task of making the beds, we headed down to Cromer Beach. The sun was shining as we paddled in the sea, played football and took in the beautiful view. Then the exciting first activities began. Some of us had a great time playing Aeroball while the other groups worked on their team building skills doing an activity called Night Line: This involved being blindfolded and leading each other over and under a range of challenging obstacles. After that we were starving and thank goodness because it was time for tea. Today's menu consisted of pizza, tacos, potatoes and a salad bar, followed by a muffin for dessert. Of course we didn't eat all of the options on the menu as we wouldn't have been able to move for our final activity; The Scrap Bottle Rocket Challenge. Today's activities will be rounded off perfectly with a cup of cocoa before bed. We will be so tired after the day's events that we will be out for the count... or so our teachers hope!
