It was freezing, the night sky towered above him, he had never felt so alone and exhausted until this moment. Suddenly a grey wolf with dark red eyes stood three yards in front of him. Jim wanted to run but he was paralysed with fear he set off his flare and the loud BANG scared the wolf away, dropping the bag in the snow as he ran. All of a sudden he heard barking in the distance he thought it was the wolf so he prepared himself. A group of husky's and a man appeared in the wilderness. Jim felt overwhelmed, was he dreaming? His eyes began to close, he couldn't hold on anymore. He woke up to a low buzzing sound and the light from the hospital room shone on his dad sat beside him.
